Leased Line Installation

Updated today

Once you've placed your Leased Line order with Daisy, we'll get the installation process in motion.

Installation Timeframe

The installation time for a leased line can vary depending on a range of factors, including the location, existing infrastructure, and the complexity of the installation. Our aim is always to get your service up and running as soon as we can, but it may take between 30 to 90 days to install your leased line, depending on the specific circumstances.

An engineer will need to attend your site for installation. Depending on who the supplier of your circuit is, this could be someone from Openreach, Virgin, ITS or another supplier.

Router Delivery and Setup

We will arrange for your router to be shipped to the site once we get a committed appointment for the installation. We will aim to have this at the site prior to installation, but the router will only need to be connected once we get the handover from the supplier.

💡If you need help setting up your router, please follow the steps in our video guide below.

External Works and Cabling

In most cases, all the external work is completed prior to the install, except connecting equipment at the exchange post install. The engineer will attend your site to get the fibre cable to your termination point, and install the supplier equipment ready for you to install the Daisy provided router.

Billing

Once your service is delivered, you will be charged from the date the circuit is handed over by the supplier.

💡If you require support with connecting and testing your circuit, please contact us on 033 33 20 00 03.

Testing and Completion

Once the fibre has been installed, we need to allow approximately 10 working days for testing to be completed. Once the testing is complete and you have connected the router you should be able to use the circuit.
