I am brand new to Office 365, what does this entail?

Once we have received your order, Daisy Communications will send you correspondence to enquire if you are new to Office 365 or if you have an existing Microsoft tenancy which needs to be migrated across. Upon reply, Daisy will proceed with the order as per your requirements. You will receive an Order Confirmation email once your licenses have been provisioned, with login details to the new Microsoft Tenant created. All new licenses provided will need to be assigned to users. The Microsoft Portal will give you the access to complete this.

Migrating your existing Office 365 tenancy to Daisy

If you’re an existing customer with Office 365 licences and services then we can migrate your current tenant and setup over to Daisy Comms. Our Daisy team will contact you with an onboarding link which your Global Administrator for Microsoft will need to approve.

Who is my global administrator for Office 365?

Your Global Administrator is responsible the management of your Office 365 Portal. You can find out who your Office 365 Global Administrator is by logging into your Admin Centre. Once you are logged in, click on “Roles” and here it will show you who has the Global Access.

Do I need to contact my previous supplier about migrating my Office 365 tenancy to Daisy?

Yes, once you have migrated your tenancy across to Daisy, you will need to contact your previous service provider and ask them to cancel your old licenses. This is to ensure that you don’t get billed by both your previous provider and Daisy Communications. Daisy Communications are not able to request cancellation on your behalf due to GDPR regulations.

Can I increase or decrease my Office 365 license qualities?

Once your tenancy is live with Daisy Communications, you will be able to request additional Office 365 licenses to be added to your estate. This can be requested via email to your Daisy Account Manager or Customer Services Team. The details for your dedicated Customer Service team can be found at the top of your invoice.

Any adjustments to license quantities can be reverted within 7 days. After the 7-day grace period, you will not be able to decrease the licenses until your renewal date.

My Office 365 licenses are due to expire, what are my next steps?

If your licenses are due to expire, you will need to contact your Account Manager or Customer Services Team. The contact details for your dedicated Customer Service team can be found at the top of your invoice, or on the My Account portal. You can either renew your licenses or, if you decide not to renew, allow them to expire. If you wish to ensure your licenses do not renew, you will need to make sure that Auto Renew is switched off.

When will I receive my first bill for Office 365?

We will invoice you for your Office 365 Services within the first 3 months of you joining Daisy and your first bill will be Pro-Rata. This means your first bill will contain charges for more than 1 months’ service. After this, your invoices will return to the contracted amount.
